Correct punctuation is often neglected but it is vitally important for good English and clarity of meaning. Here are some basic notes, tips and exercises on many different aspects of English punctuation. There are also some more advanced discussions and comparisons with punctuation conventions in different language cultures and different parts of the English-speaking world are in preparation. Some interactive exercises will be added to the notes and written exercises suitable for printing off.
